Although it was a few months ago now, I haven't updated here for a while. Played a cool gig in a dome for the Department of Tethered Aviation at Burning Man. Great fun! Went well, had a special guest who came up and rapped and beatboxed over some of my music as well... Boo from Modesto. Good times were had by many at well, one of the most fun places on Earth - Black Rock City, NV... Of course... duh. But am happy to report that Tainted By Trolls played another gig out there on the playa, lugging my equipment around on my electronic scooter and modified bike trailer, which doubled as Angie's chariot as I dragged her around on the desert behind me... Ah, I guess you had to be there....
Been working on new material, have a couple of longish electronica Bman inspired tunes headed your way shortly, once I can get a mix that I'm happy with. That's the trouble with these long songs is it can turn mixing into a whole other set of issues... but issues that I love to deal with.

It's been a bit quiet on the TBT front in recent months, only because I've been busy playing some down and dirty rock and roll with Victory and Associates. It's fun to play live in a rock band again and that serves a great outlet to do so. There are some fun and to the point rock songs there in the vein of early Alice Cooper Band, early AC/DC, Cheap Trick, etc. Good times and fun live shows. That being said, TBT is still functioning and I've been continuing to put songs together and to get some new distribution systems now that it seems that MySpace has pretty much run its course. Therefore, I am trying out a couple of new sites to see which I like best. Your input would be helpful if you use or like one particular site or if you think one or the other is particularly beneficial to the distribution of my music. So I present to you Tainted By Trolls on BandCamp and SoundCloud. Please leave feedback for me, I could really use it.

I haven't updated here a lot lately because I have been BUSY! Busy with work, with Victory and Associates and also on the new Tainted By Trolls album which will be called Electric Leaves on Bamboo Trees. Not sure the release date just yet. When it's done. I would like to incorporate live drums into this project. If you happen to be an interested drummer or know someone whow is, get ahold of me here

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm just rebounding back from a little downtime after having Lasik eye surgery. The results? Absolutely amazingly fantastic! I love it! I can see in a whole new, wonderful way!!! Dr. Ellis... you rule, man.

Tainted By Trolls is looking to hook up with some kind souls at Burning Man who will have performance space available on the playa. TBT is a one man electronic rock music project that sounds like a full band. TBT is self-sufficient and can perform just by plugging in a couple of inputs into your PA. Or perhaps you need some speakers as trade to borrow for your sound camp? TBT performed in 2007 & 2008 and is hoping to do so again in 2009. with the use of loops, triggers and previously integrated performances, TBT has built songs of its own creation and found a way to translate them into live performance. Tainted By Trolls isn't merely a DJ, it's a live performance of original compositions, parts of which are sequenced by computer and parts of which are performed on guitar, sometimes including live vocals. 4/23/09 - Razzmatazz has been delivered to CDBaby, and soon will be available on iTunes as well. I released both albums to CDB & digital distribution through iTunes last night, will post again once it becomes available. Right now, the original edition of The Precession of the Equinox is available on CDBaby and there are only a few copies left. Those are the last releases available in purple.
Tainted By Trolls launches new merchandise store at Cafe Press! There's not much on it right now, just my first T-shirt, "Hug it out, bitch." There will be more to come, this was a starter, there will soon be TBT merch as well as some other merch ideas I've had floating in my head for a while.
What's up in other news? There is a new Tainted By Trolls album underway.. I have several songs which are in the cooker at the moment... still simmering, still adding spices and seasoning to taste, mixing in a little of this, pulling out a little of that... There is one brand new song which is complete that you can download for free here right now for a while longer...

Tained By Trolls has been fortunate to get international airplay this month! First in the UK on Off The Chart Radio. Tainted By Trolls' song Hep Cat Hep Cat was played on the show on 3/25. You can listen to that broadcast here.
Shortly thereafter, Tainted By Trolls' song Friday Night Lip Service led off the awesomely titled 21st Century Schizoid Show coming out of LG73 Vancouver Canada online radio!
Those are only the ones I'm aware of.. more have been sent out internationally

2/3/09 - Time marches on..We are already in February. 2009 on fast forward already. Just got rid of the old counter as that service seems to have turned into a broken link all of a sudden.. So there's this new counter up above. Got to get working on some music here... no reason to type it all up here... Try out the new Xite player above... works pretty great.
